Turn a grueling project into a fun event

Uncategorized

How to turn a grueling project into a fun event in just a short period of time.  The rewards outweigh the daunting task.

We told you we would write about the more mundane events in a professional organizer’s life. Even the most organized people need to take time to re-evaluate their own “STUFF”.  Do you ever feel as though you can’t find a particular item as it may have been placed in a number of drawers, shelves and/or closets in your house?  Just last week that happened to me when trying to find a particular CD I wanted to play as party music for a “Girls Night Out” at my house.  In my case I had dozens of CD’s located in three different locations so it took me 3x as long to find the particular disk I wanted to play for my gathering.  As a result of my search I did find the CD I was looking for and proceeded directly to my stereo system where I blasted music and began collating, as well as categorizing all my precious music possessions into one central location.  As I sang along to the Musical “Mamma Mia” the task at hand took little if any time and it was rather fun in the process.  I am happy to report that all my music is now in one place, easily accessible to my stereo system so it allows me constant variety in music and some old favorites for my friends and family to hear.  YES, I still use my I-Pod but sometimes it’s just nice to get the old tunes back from those early years without paying the additional cost.
