Tackle Your To – Do’s

Recently, when working with a client reviewing multiple closets, there were many items we pulled out and  put in what I call a “to-do” bag.  Instead of letting items sit behind a closed door, pull your to-do’s out of hiding, put them in a bag, place the bag in your car and actually get it done.  No more procrastinating…. such items might include:

  • Items to be returned to a friend
  • Dress needing to be hemmed
  • Shoes needing repair
  • Items to be dry-cleaned
  • Watch needing a new battery
  • Soda Stream dispenser needing to be re-filled
  • Library books needing to be returned
  • Boxes for post office
  • Items to be dropped off at donation
  • Old electronics that need to be recycled

Inevitably, I will find a few items within a household that should be put in a to-do bag in the car.  It sounds so simple, and it is.  If you make the effort to bring these items to the car, you’ll find it will be easier to accomplish those small errands.
