Organizing Pocketbooks

There are many tools to help you organize your closet and we will be discussing some of our favorites over the next few weeks.  Do you have a top shelf in your closet?  If so, are you tired of your clothes falling over every  time you grab an item?   If your answer is yes, we love these shelf dividers that allow you to stack sweaters, men’s shirts, women’s shirts and even pocketbooks neatly.  You can position them as wide as you want so they can even be used to stack linens or comforters.  These dividers are helpful to arrange items and keep things from toppling over.  We find the metal to be more durable than the plastic shelf dividers.  They also come in different heights, so take your measurements before you head to The Container Store.  One thing to keep in mind is they slide on to the lip of the shelf so if you have a shelf that is thicker than 3/4″ these aren’t for you.  Also you need a solid shelf so they are secure.  The dividers don’t clip on well to metal shelving units.  Try organizing your closet today and let us know what you think of these shelf dividers!  You can find them or similar ones at The Container Store and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
