5 Organizing Tasks in 5 Minutes

You Have Just “5 Minutes”

Make your Bed: “if you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.” (Naval Admiral William H. McRaven)
“It was a simple task-mundane at best. But every morning we were required to make our bed to perfection. It seemed a little ridiculous at the time, particularly in light of the fact that we were aspiring to be real warriors, tough battle hardened SEALS-but the wisdom of this simple act has been proven to me many times over. If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another…if you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.”
Vacuum the Inside of your Car: According to a study done by the “Harvard Health Watch” the average American spends 101 minutes/day in their car. Make it a pleasant experience.
Clean out Your Purse and/or Wallet: Why spend time looking for that special lipstick? Try putting all cosmetics in a designated pouch with similar items. Take photo copes of ALL your bank, credit and health cards along with your license and any other award type cards.
Organize Note Cards into Categories: Birthday, Father’s Day etc. Just add dividers to save time and money so you can quickly find that special card to send a friend or family member.
Write a Hand Written Note: Imagine how it makes you feel to receive a letter in your postal mail box NOT your internet mail: a lot more meaningful.
